Project Overview
A web platform developed for an Algerian company specializing in the production of Quinoa. The site offers a comprehensive overview of the company's mission and detailed production stages. It also features a product catalog where users can browse items, select quantities, and add them to a cart. The checkout process is streamlined by redirecting users directly to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message containing their order details to complete the purchase.
The Challenge
Designing a smooth and intuitive user experience that bridges a traditional e-commerce catalog with a WhatsApp-based checkout flow, ensuring that order details are accurately formatted and transmitted to the business.
The Solution
Built a dynamic React frontend to handle state management for the shopping cart and product selections. Implemented a custom checkout handler that encodes the cart data (products, quantities, and total price) into a structured WhatsApp API link, simplifying the ordering process without requiring a complex payment gateway.
